Paligo is now looking for a Cloud Engineer to join the development team, and have overall responsibility for deployment and maintenance of the product in the AWS cloud.

About the role
As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining Paligo’s connected documentation environment in the AWS cloud. You will be an important part of ensuring an excellent customer experience by managing, monitoring and deploying our growing platform/product.

The position offers great variety where you will get to work on different tasks such as:

• Continuous development within the AWS cloud environment - updating and maintaining of the product, implementing and managing delivery systems in AWS for speed and cost effectiveness

• Communicating and guiding cloud engineering consultants in Macedonia, ultimately being responsible for the work they deliver

• Being able to identify and remedy any operational difficulties or problems that may arise

• Budget responsibility - producing cost-effective solutions in AWS

• Training and guiding the development team in the AWS cloud environment

About you
To succeed in the role as Cloud Engineer, you are an excellent communicator and are used to communicating both internally in the team as well as externally to external stakeholders. You are a problem solver, analytical, and someone who enjoys coming up with practical solutions when you encounter challenging problems. Furthermore, you are a team player – we are all working towards the same goal, whether you're a developer or a salesperson, and no matter where in the world you are. Though we enjoy our alone time to focus, if you also love cooperating across teams to assist each other - then this is the place for you!

Beyond that, we imagine that you have some of the following points in your resumé:

• 3+ years of experience from a similar role as a Cloud Engineer,

• 3+ years of experience as a Cloud Architect or working within a SaaS company.

• Fluent Swedish and English, in speech and writing

Nice to haves:

• Work experience in the AWS environment or another Cloud Service, e.g. Google Cloud

• Good understanding of backend and frontend web related languages, e.g. Python, PHP, JavaScript

• AWS Certification

• Work experience in a startup or scale up environment

• Preferably you live in Stockholm since this role is based in Solna, Sweden
