About the role
The Business Development team is a part of our greater international Sales organization, spread across 6 countries and focused on bringing in new business and growing our current customer base.
As a Business Development Representative at Paligo you will be responsible for researching target accounts, identifying ideal customers, and crafting compelling messages to nurture and attract new customers. You will also be responsible for keeping meticulous records of interactions with leads in our CRM.
You will be working closely with our Account Executives and other cross-functional teams to drive pipeline growth in North America and EMEA, contributing to achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly quotas of pipeline generation.

In your first month as BDR with Paligo you will:
Learn to use our incredible product, understand the CCMS market and our ideal customers
Learn about our Sales process and prospecting strategies
Familiarize yourself with our tools and processes
Learn and experience the Paligo Culture and Values
In your second and third months as BDR with Paligo you will:
See the prospecting process as a whole, and start working on your target accounts
Practice outbounding with guidance from the team and your manager
Receive coaching on daily, weekly and monthly activity expectations to help you achieve your targets
After your third month as BDR with Paligo you will:
Contribute to pipeline generation, meeting and exceeding targets
Become a Paligo advocate and product expert
Continue learning and developing skills to build a career with Paligo
About you
We are looking for an enthusiastic communicator with exceptional attention to detail and an analytical mindset. To be successful in this role we want you to be a real team-player, adaptable to change, and always hungry to learn more. You will become a Paligo product advocate who stays up to date on product updates and market trends.
Must have:
Fluent in English, written and spoken.
Minimum 6 months experience in business/sales/account development, outbound prospecting, lead generation or recruiting.
Experience using prospecting tools like LinkedIn (Sales Navigator, Recruiter), Zoominfo or Lusha.
A proactive, positive and competitive mindset
Clear communication and presentation skills - via email, phone, Zoom and in person
Good time-management and organizational skills
Experience working in a team environment
Nice to haves:
Native speaker of any major European language (German, Spanish or French)
Experience working in SaaS or Localization - huge plus if you have experience in the CCMS industry!
Track record of working to targets and over achieving
Have healthy negotiation skills and business acumen
Experience using CRM or other tech stack tools
