This position is a replacement for our talented Engineering Manager, Metin, who has decided to focus on his greatest passion: coding, and will take on a different role within the organization.

As an Engineering Manager, you’ll be part of our engineering team at our headquarters in Solna, Stockholm, reporting directly to the VP of Engineering. Paligo is a global company with clients and teams spread across different locations, but our engineering team is primarily based in Solna, where we prioritize in-office collaboration. We embrace a hybrid working model, allowing for regular in-office meetings while offering flexibility for remote work when needed. However, the heart of our teamwork happens in Stockholm.

What You’ll Do:

- Lead and inspire a team of engineers to follow best-in-class development practices.

- Partner with the Product Owner and stakeholders to launch stable, high-quality releases that keep Paligo ahead of the curve.

- Bridge the gap between teams, ensuring seamless communication and a united focus on our goals.

- Prioritize technical and customer needs to keep us laser-focused on delivering exceptional value.

- Cultivate a learning environment where knowledge is shared, collaboration thrives, and the team grows stronger together.

- Shape the future of your team by developing personalized growth plans, setting meaningful goals, and leading engaging 1-1s and dev talks.

- Own the Scrum process and guide the team through successful sprints, making every review count.

- Attract and retain top engineering talent, keeping Paligo at the forefront of innovation.

What We’re Looking For:

- A visionary leader who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Someone passionate about pushing boundaries and keeping the customer at the heart of every decision.

- An expert communicator who can seamlessly collaborate across teams and departments.

- A natural mentor with a knack for developing and inspiring high-performing teams.

- Experience in agile software development environments.

- Background in improving best practices and processes across development teams on a continuing basis.

- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

- 5 years hands-on software development experience.

- Experience managing both onsite and remote engineers.
