Senior Performance Marketer
Paligo is the leading cloud-based component content management system (CCMS) for technical documentation. We help teams create, manage, translate, and publish structured content at scale, with 450+ customers across 38 countries.
This role is based in Stockholm or Remote and reports to the VP of Marketing.
Role overview
Search is changing fast. AI Mode, zero-click results, and LLM-driven research are rewriting the rules of B2B discovery. We're looking for a Senior Performance Marketer who sees this shift as an opportunity. Someone who can own our traffic acquisition, optimize conversions on our site, and make sure Paligo shows up wherever our buyers are looking.
This role owns the full spectrum: organic, paid and AI search, affiliate partnerships, and paligo.net itself. You'll drive targeted traffic, optimize how visitors convert, and continuously test and iterate to fuel a high-velocity sales pipeline.
This is both strategic and hands-on. You'll shape our SEO and SEM capabilities for today's rapidly evolving search landscape while also building the site, managing budgets, and measuring what moves the needle, every single day. At Paligo all team members roll up their sleeves and do the work. You'll collaborate closely with our Marketing Manager, Content Writer, Revenue Operations team, and Digital Designer.
Key responsibilities
Traffic acquisition
Build and optimize our organic search program, including technical SEO, content strategy, and authority building to improve rankings and capture high-intent traffic.
Develop and execute our AI search visibility strategy. Research and optimize how Paligo is cited and recommended through Google, Claude, ChatGPt etc.
Run paid search campaigns across Google and Microsoft Ads. Manage budgets, optimize bids, and drive efficient cost-per-lead.
Manage and develop affiliate partnerships with industry influencers and organizations.
Website & conversion optimization
Own Paligo's website end to end. Build and optimize pages, improve conversion rates, and continuously test and iterate to turn traffic into Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs).
Shape the on-site experience in collaboration with Digital Design, from landing pages to CTAs over the entire visitor journey.
Measure what matters: report on performance across all channels, build attribution models, and use data to prioritize where to invest next.
Growth opportunities
For the right person: take ownership of our ABM program and level up how marketing supports outbound.
Experiment with emerging channels and formats as the search landscape evolves. This role has the mandate to test, learn, and scale what works.
Shape Paligo's approach to AI-driven discovery as a competitive advantage. This is a space where best practices are still being written.
What you bring
Must-haves
A genuine curiosity about how AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini are reshaping how B2B buyers discover and evaluate software, and a drive to turn that understanding into competitive advantage.
7+ years of hands-on digital marketing experience in B2B SaaS, including proven results in driving traffic growth and improving conversion rates.
Expertise in SEO and SEM (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads) for B2B audiences.
Strong analytical and action-oriented mindset. Comfortable working with Google Analytics, Search Console, HubSpot reporting, and campaign attribution data to make decisions.
Working proficiency in WordPress (or similar CMS) for building and optimizing web pages.
Nice-to-haves
Experience with account-based marketing (ABM) programs.
Familiarity with the creation of technical documentation, knowledge or content management.
Experience working with agencies or freelancers to scale marketing output.
